Adel Kamel was born in Sweida in 1961. He studied art at the Fine Arts College (graduated from the Engraving Department in 1984). He also obtained a diploma in interior design from the Republic Institute in 1985. He participated in several group exhibitions. Since childhood, his interest in the vine sticks that he found and contemplated in his city has been evident, and he embodied them in all his artistic stages realistically, figuratively and poetically.
