Hiba Al-Akkad was born in Syria in 1981. She graduated in the Fine Arts College, Department of painting. She obtained the first award of the Young Artists competition under the patronage of Petro Canada Company (the committee of the gallery). And in 2004 she started teaching drawing for the primary level. Now she is a volunteer in the association of Friends of the environment, also she worked in the field of developing the Art experiences for the special needs children’s, and now she is dedicated for her Art.
