Born in Hama, studied oil painting in Rome 1957-1964, then stage design 1962-1964 and later followed up his higher education in Paris Worked as a professor of oil painting at the faculty of Fine Arts Damascus until retirement individual and group exhibitions in Syria and abroad. Tackes contemporary human problems in a surrealistic style. His works are in the National Museum in Damascus, the Ministry of Culture, and in private collections.
